This group is established at West Virginia University to exchange knowledge about cooking and new recipes, enhance friendship, motivate sharing with community and promote healthy cooking.
The WVU Cooking Club has a monthly demonstration where a member of the group shares a special recipe. Each demonstration includes a main dish and, two side dishes or a side dish and a dessert. The recipe is done step by step at a WVU special kitchen room where the audience can interact and appreciate every single detail of the process. Nutritional value and cultural facts about the recipe are also discussed; finally, the audience can taste the recipe which is collected for the club’s cookbook.
